"It is a privilege to have Mr. Madhav Mohan¹s involvement in the growth of the Rotary Foundation¹s Institute of Management Studies at Vapi, (GRIMS) .Madhav has been a member of both the Governing Council, and the Academic Council of GRIMS ever since its inception in 1999. Despite his busy schedules, Madhav has invested substantial time and effort in bringing to GRIMS a heightened consciousness of quality in all its academic and administrative endeavours. This emphasis on quality is now beginning to yield rich results.

The key academic initiatives at GRIMS have emanated from or been touched, tested and refined by him.

As a Mentor, Madhav has conducted formal and non-formal sessions for the faculty and even the Trustees. He started with a Vision Workshop way back in 2000 and followed it with faculty development programmes focusing on learner orientation, pedagogy, academic planning and discipline and self improvement initiatives. I believe that these efforts have been instrumental in instilling in the collective consciousness of GRIMS a common vision, a set of core values and strategic growth perspectives. And in fostering a work ethic of freedom, creativity and responsibility.

Madhav has also taken successive batches of students under his care at Cochin. These Cochin camps on Personal Development have made an amazing difference to the students ­they have given them not only confidence and a sense of self worth and personal mission but the ability to pursue self reliant learning and map out a career full of meaning and purpose.
